Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol is a model program whose focus is to reduce alcohol use by those under the age of 21 years in Dorchester County. The Strategy Team meets on the first Monday of every month [unless the date falls on a holiday] to discuss progress and program healthy choices for Dorchester County. This program has formed new partnerships as well as created new ones through projects such as the Preliminary Breathalyzer Test [PBT] Project which provided the high schools in the county resources to enforce the existing drug- and alcohol-free school zone policy. This program's mission is to change the perceptions about underage drinking through policy enforcement and change.
