Counseling and testing site for HIV Antibody test
Provides general information about the HIV antibody test, confidential and anonymous pre- and post-test counseling, and appropriate referral to support groups, physicians, and mental health agencies.
Appointments are requested, but walk-ins are accepted.

HIV Case Management
Assists HIV infected people to learn about resources and get connected with services (i.e. referral to a physician, housing programs, financial benefits, and support groups). There are Ryan White funds available for emergencies to assist individuals in need of food, payment of rent, utilities, transportation, medications, medical and dental care, home care, and equipment.

Speakers Bureau Provides HIV/AIDS education to any community agency in Dorchester County that requests educational programs and training workshops. Seropositive Clinic HIV Positive individuals are provided care by physicians specializing in HIV treatment. Clinic is one day each month by appointment only. THE SISTA PROJECT: Contact: Tavonya Chester, LGSW
The Sista Project is a program that is designed to give females knowledge, skills and pride to actively protect them from becoming infected with the HIV virus. The Sista project consist of five once a week, one-two hour sessions. The sessions build on one another and have been developed to encourage group participation in an open and stimulating environment.

The Pharaoh Program strives to liberate individuals by improving upon their decision making abilities to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. The program uses methods, tools, instruments, and intervention that are culturally focused to assist individual in a transformation or reclamation that leads to empowerment of self, family and community. The program consists of five sessions that are 1-2 hours in duration

PREVENTION WITH POSITIVES: Contact: Tavonya Chester, LGSW
The prevention with positives program is a four session, 1-2 hours in duration, one on one intervention to prevent the transmission of the HIV/AIDS virus. The focus of the program is to develop detailed risk reduction plans to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Discussions will be topic-driven but loosely structured and interactive to reinforce knowledge and increased skill/comfort levels. Standards of the strictest confidentiality will be observed. All efforts will follow the client-centered approach and harm reduction models. Unconditional positive regard, respect and empowerment will be supported and extended in all client interactions.
