The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Office of Injury Prevention offers local health department grants to address specific causes of injuries. Past grants have focused on Shaken Baby Syndrome, Fires and Falls, and a conference for Child Care Providers about various preventable childhood injuries. The Injury Prevention Coordinator is available for presentations and displays as requested.
