Counseling and testing site for HIV Antibody test
Provides general information about the HIV antibody test, confidential and anonymous pre- and post-test counseling, and appropriate referral to support groups, physicians, and mental health agencies.
Appointments are requested, but walk-ins are accepted.
Hours of operation: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Time can be individualized by client's request.

HIV Case Management
Assists HIV infected people to learn about resources and get connected with services (i.e. referral to a physician, housing programs, financial benefits, and support groups). There are Ryan White funds available for emergencies to assist individuals in need of food, payment of rent, utilities, transportation, medications, medical and dental care, home care, and equipment.
Appointments are negotiated with the client. Time is arranged for client's convenience.

Speakers Bureau
Provides HIV/AIDS education to any community agency in Dorchester County that requests educational programs and training workshops. Time is negotiated with the Agency requesting the education.

Seropositive Clinic
HIV Positive individuals are provided care by physicians specializing in HIV treatment. Clinic is one day each month by appointment only.

*No fees are charged to clients for any of these programs.
The Adult Immunization program provides Hepatitis B prophylaxis, employee health, foreign travel, rabies pre-exposure, and Tetanus immunizations as warranted. Immunizations for preventive health such as flu shots, FluMists, and pneumonia vaccines are also administered.
The Adult Immunization program also provides disease surveillance and follow-up for Salmonella, Lyme Disease and other reportable diseases, as well as blood-borne pathogen training to employees.
This program is eligible for Dorchester County residents 18 years and older.
How does one obtain service?
Hepatitis B is done on a group basis for high risk groups. All other adult immunizations are done by appointment only.
Fees: Generally employers cover most of the Hep B ($90 for 3 shots); costs vary according to immunization. Donations are requested.

Medication (INH) is provided for positive PPD's with negative chest X-rays. Tuberculosis medications are provided for active TB cases.
Eligibility: Treatment for tuberculosis (active) clients is coordinated with their private physician. Testing is available to anyone requesting screening.
Fees: Individuals requesting PPD testing for school, etc. are asked for a donation of $6.00 to cover costs. If they are unable to pay, this service is provided free of charge.

This program provides examination and screening for sexually transmitted diseases with contact investigations and follow-up by a Health Services Specialist.
Anyone requesting screening or who has a STD is eligible.
Fees: A $6.00 donation
