State Holiday Schedule

The Dorchester County Health Department will be closed on all State Holidays.

The 2010 schedule is as follows:

New Year's Day	Friday - January 1st
Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday	Monday - January 18th
Presidents' Day Service Reduction Day	Monday - February 15th Friday - May 28th
Memorial Day	Monday - May 31st
Independence Day*	Monday - July 5th
Labor Day	Monday - September 6th
Columbus Day Gubernatorial Election Day	Monday - October 11th Tuesday - November 2nd
Veterans' Day	Thursday - November 11th
Thanksgiving Day	Thursday - November 25th
American Indian Heritage Day	Friday - November 26th
Christmas Day New Year's Day 2011	Friday - December 24th Friday - December 31st


* When a State Holiday occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday is observed on the Friday before or the Monday after the actual holiday, respectively. ** The New Year's Day holiday for 2011 will be observed in the 2010 calendar year because the holiday occurs on a Saturday.
